The Competition was run in conjunction with Hallam FM (Who picked the winner for us.) across the Royal Victoria (Holiday Inn), Magna(Ultimate Brides) and Wortley Hall wedding events.

Wentworth Castle

Had a great time at Wentworth castle yesterday really enjoyed meeting lots of new brides to be and a chance to catch up with old friends from the castle andsome of the other trade exhibitors.

We had a really great time at yesterday's wedding, lovely couple, nice family, great vicar and the weather held when we needed it too.

The Sun is shinning so here is hoping it stays that way.

Today we are of to Darton church then onto The White Hart in Penistone, A real hidden treasure of a venue looks just like a pub on the outside and amazing on the inside.

looking forward to seeing Laura in her dress and i'm sure her wedding to Scott will be great fun.

Emma & Ty

Spent a couple hours last night with Emma & Ty showing them they're wedding photos for the fist time.

Emma said "I knew they were going to be good but these are a 1000 times better thank you thank you thank you"

Guess they liked them.

What we do best

The last couple weeks has all been about getting out there and meeting new potential clients. We have done three wedding fairs and had around a dozen follow up appointments.

It has been great fun and we have met some lovely people.

Tomorrow we get back to what we love, the camera's are charged and we are rearing to go.

full steam ahead

Sarah's hard work in adding a great boudoir service to our repertoire took a big leap forward this morning.

We had a really productive meeting with Kirsty at Whitley Hall Hotel http://www.whitleyhall.com that looks like giving it the green light and lots of fresh ideas into the mix.

We now need to get a couple models up there to showcase the venue's potential and portray the fun of the experience but its full steam ahead.

Charity tie in.

Charity 1st donation

Following on from our recent wedding fairs we have had evening appointments three evenings running Monday to Wednesday,

We got to meet some lovely couples and are looking forward to seeing you again in the run up to your weddings.

A special thank you must also go to Hannah Wood, for being the first new bride to donate to HallamFM's cash for kids.  

Wedding Fairs summary

Mike spend the day at Wortley Hall, a place it is fair to say we are a little biased towards since we got married there ourselves three years ago.

Sarah got to spend the day with Hallam FM who were hosting the Royal Vics show.

Wow cant believe how busy it was today at the Royal Victoria Holiday Inn Wedding Fair, Got loads of interest and some appointments made for this week for people to come have another look and meet Mike who had an equally successful day at Wortley Halls Wedding Fair 


What a busy weekend

Wedding Fairs

Platinum Photography are attending 2 different wedding fairs today! We will be at the Holiday Inn Royal Victoria in Sheffield and at Wortley Hall. Hopefully they will both have a good turn out cant wait to start meeting new couples again!

Pre Wedding Walk

We are off shortly to meet Laura & Scott for a walk around The White Heart in Penistone and then All Saints Church Darton,

Hopefully the weather will be much better on 16 October than it is looking so far today.

Ultimate Brides Update

We had a great time last sunday at Magna, and are looking forward to tonight's follow up with Victoria and Steve.

busy weekend

Mike & Sarah are getting ready for a busy weekend at Platinum Photography.

On Saturday we will be at the West Retford Hotel helping celebrate Emma & Ty's wedding.

Then on Sunday we will be at Magna for the Ultimate Brides Wedding Exhibition, with other a 100 supplies and hopefully even more brides it could be manic.

We are looking forward to spending the day with Toni & James, not the best weather but i'm sure it will still be a great wedding up at tankersley manor

Was really nice to see Rebecca again last night, and a shame David couldnt make it.

Rebecca loved that she got the final say on theyre wedding book and really liked the draft album design so much that its went straight to the suppliers with no amendments.

Wedding Photography

Another wedding date has just been removed from our calendar. Andrew in Cumbria has just confirmed his booking for 25th June Next year! Looking forward to working with you at Burntwood Court will be a very fun day!

Beauty & the Beast

Just taken the cameras up to wentworth castle www.wentworthcastle.org to take some photos of the charterhouse theatre adaptation of the classic tale of Beauty and the Beast. Great play and a magical backdrop.

The weather stayed dry too which is always a bonus when your working outdoors.

Pre Wedding Walk

Just getting ready to drop of the kids then head over to Tankersley Manor to meet up with Gemma & Paul to finalise everything for their wedding on 24th September.
